DC Police casually run red lights

WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA9) -- inquiring communicator Russ Ptacek shows you DC police vehicles

Metropolitan department of local government (MPD) officers say the agency adheres to town policy permitting officers, in "an emergency," to proceed past red lights as long because it sounds a symbol by "bell, siren, or exhaust whistle."
